You can just drag and drop images into the Compose window.   When you 
are hovering over the window an there is an option to paste it inline or 
as an attachment

It is more difficult to do in the small display of a laptop. The 
question to paste or attach goes behind the FF window (in front of TB, 
but behind FF), I can not access it, so it is attached.

Also, when clicking and trying to drag, the mousepad often freezes in my 
laptop, I have to try several times.

Not doable.
