I can't figure out how to go to an arbitrary date, or arbitrary month
and year, in the calendar. Some documentation says that there are pull
downs under month and year in the upper left, but I don't see them.

What am I missing.

I think that documentation, which you didn't provide a link to, may be
outdated and needs editing.

The only way I see in the Mini-Month calendar in the upper left is to
use the < Month > and < Year > arrows. That's a lot of clicking if you
want to go back or forward a lot of years.

I see a user can be in the calendar tab and depending on the Day, Week,
Multiweek or Month view selection can use Go > Next or Go > Previous to
select a day, week or month. Nothing for year or arbitrary selections.

I do remember that ability though.

What is your Tb v?

You should have a L pane w/ a month/year calendar at its top. There are
little arrows to the R & L of the mo & yr to go back or forward by year
& month.

I don't know what that is, other than the .0bx looks like some kind of
beta or dev v.

Thanks. I missed that. It's still a PITA, but a smaller PITA. I
normally don't have that open as it eats space in my preferred monthly view.

Windows 10 v. 21H1 (OS Build 19043.1081)
TBird 78.11.0 (64-bit)

Extensions:

Get All Mail Button
Mail Merge
Manually sort folders
Provider for CalDAV & CardDAV
Provider for Google Calendar
Smileyfixer
TbSync
Thunder HTMLedit

I don't see the little calendar in the upper left corner in any TB view.

You can restart Tb w/ those extensions disabled to see if that helps:

Tb/ Help/ Restart w/ add-ons disabled.

Thanks for the info. Tried that.
Actually the extensions made no difference.
I discovered that if I grab a hidden vertical line at the very left end
of the screen and move it to the right, I get the mini-calendar. But it
takes up a lot of space, so I move the line to the left to get rid of
the mini-calendar.

Do you have the Calendar tab selected?

Are View > Calendar > Calendar Pane > Show Calendar Pane and Mini-Month
enabled?
