Windows 10 Pro, x64. Thunderbird 89.0b1. Is it necessary to compact newsgroups or if you set Thunderbird to delete messages older than 12 days does it automatically do this? -- <Bill> Brought to you from Anchorage, Alaska

Where is it? > Tools/Options/General/Disk Space "Compact All Folders" so I presume it does Mail and Newsgroups.
