All of a sudden firefox seems to dislike google?

for google.com

"Content Encoding Error

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an
invalid or unsupported form of compression."

for google.co.uk

"Be careful. Something doesn’t look right.

Firefox didn’t load this page because it looks like the security
configuration doesn’t match the previous page.
What can you do about it?

Sometimes websites set up protections for themselves from unwanted
interactions with other sites.

Learn more about Cross Origin Opener Policies (COOP)

Error Code: NS_ERROR_DOM_COOP_FAILED"

Both work OK in Edge ... anyone else?

The Google front page (search) works for me (v155.0.1), although I
have to allow scripts from google.com to run, which I think is new. I
don't know; I don't use the Google search engine much anymore.

YouTube also works without problem (but again, you have to allow scripts
from google.com, googlevideo.com and Youtube.com to run first).

Gmail similarly has no issue (assuming you enable javacripting, again).

So it doesn't seem to be an issue on Google's side or with Firefox. Too-sensitive
restrictions or finicky extensions would be my guess.

I think they broke something, then noticed it very quickly and reverted
it, I changed nothing here ... could have been UK specific.
