I can see 2 separate branches/sets of

That's exactlyi why delta updates are dangerous.
Fixing memory leaks is like trying to stop a dam
from leaking more. Remember that fairy tale? :)

Funny you should mention this, Ant. I use SeaMonkey Suite and their
current version number is V 2.53.23

And then, of course, before you get a new release, you have to have
'Alpha'. 'Beta' and 'Release Candidate' versions.

Really??

Sure, I understand that these are only small, incremental, variations in
the releases ...... *BUT WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GET V3* ??

I think you should stick with Firefox/Thunderbird if you want greater
major version number :-P.

Oh!! Don't get me wrong, SeaMonkey does the Vast amount of things I need
.... except some/many Web sites don't display in the SM Browser .....
because, I think the SM Dev Team is getting very thin on the ground ....
but it is falling behind, slowly.

I use it too, but its egnines are very old. I have to use Firefox when
web sites don't work. I still use its e-mails a lot though!
