Hi All,

Any of you guys use Chris Titus' Win Tool Box?
I can tell what it is from his web site.

https://christitus.com/downloads/

He has youtube videos, but the print on the screen
is too small to tell what he is talking about.

Run this command in PowerShell/Terminal as Admin (Windows 11/10):

{"irm https://christitus.com/win | iex"}

You will be able to see what he is talking about.

That did the trick. Thank you!

Looking at it, I am not sure it really has much
of value. Didn't even have a way to remove One
Drive.

AVG wouldn't let me go there the first time, and after that clicking on
this link caused nothing to happen. Couldn't even get the error message
again.

Redirection chain, but virustotal still says the URL is clean.

https://christitus.com/win
https://github.com/ChrisTitusTech/winutil/releases/latest/download/winutil.ps1
https://github.com/ChrisTitusTech/winutil/releases/download/25.03.05/winutil.ps1

In the Community Comments section, there is only one comment:

"It's a security nightmare that this influencer is teaching users to
push uncontrolled code with administrative privileges to Powershell IEX.
The content and consistency of these scripts cannot be trusted. Far-reaching
system changes are being made. Simply block this indicator."

You find the strangest advice sometimes :-)

Looks like another Windows tweaker. The web site you gave wants $10.
Some more info at his Github site at:

https://github.com/christitustech/winutil

You didn't give the URL for the Youtube video. A search using:

https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=chris+titus+windows+toolbox

turned up multiple possible videos. One was:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXyMScSbhk4

I wasn't going to watch the entire 17+ minute video trying to find
whatever print (text?) was too small. I wasn't interested in the
program, so I kept jumping at about 5-second intervals through about
half the video, but gave up trying to find something in the video too
small to read. Maybe the video gets bigger, and so, too, the print if
you hit F11 to maximize the web browser's window to fullscreen.

I despise I.T. your tube videos.

You probably were looking at a different video
than I was.

This is what I could not see on my television:
     https://ibb.co/93dQqWZt

I take it you have never used the utility. I did
not find anything of interest in it.

He's not very good at clarity. Not a good sign. If I
had to guess from his site I'd say he's probably a
semi-literate Linux nut. His utility is a "must have"?
Why? He can't be bothered to tell us. The pages
read like they're designed for people who are already
his fan club. Then he says not to use too many of
his settings because it might destabilize Windows. :)

I pretty much settled on a combination of my own
researched tweaks, combined with Classic/Open Shell
and Winaero Tweaker. WT is fairly clear, with good
explanations. It has a search feature and seems to
explain most all settings. A very thoughtfully designed
program.

Maybe that's the difference between people who want
Windows optimized for usability and functionality, vs
people who like to experiment for fun.

That is kind of what I thought of it too.

I like xdAntiSpy

For a lot of those tweaks
