This is proof, for me, that the biggest mistake I made was investing in
Microsoft's DRM-enabled content. I'm locked-in as a result.

I don't think He is angered, but I bought a _lot_ of movies through
Microsoft's Films & TV site. Removing Windows means losing access to
that content without using an Xbox. They don't provide any way of
watching the movie through the web.

If they had at least made the movies accessible through the web, there
would be a way around it. I imagine that there is a way to enable their
content's DRM through the web instead of forcing the customer to use a
Microsoft program to watch those movies, but they seem to have no desire
to allow it.

Good point. They want people to be tied to their product and this is one
good way to go about it. To be fair, their prices are fantastic as is
their delivery.

Well, it is definitely easier on the storage than having your entire DVD
and Blu-Ray library on it at all times. The fact that I can't share the
content or consume it on Linux is a problem though.

They really could consider providing it for Unix-like, but they have
no motive to, I guess. Yeah, I'd rather not spend money on their
proprietary offerings. I was able to stream the Trump movie with
Linux Chrome on my TV screen.
