They tried to introduce 10-point touch, but for desktops, there were not a lot of monitor offerings with the hardware support for that. the only gesture that comes to mind there, is "grab and rotate", done with the fingertips. Windows 8.0 had the "full screen mode" for Apps, where the App lacked an "X" for dismiss, in the upper right corner. You could use Alt-F4, to escape from that. There is a video of a test subject, who kinda freezes up and does the "deer in the headlights" face, in response to there being no "X" in the corner :-) That got fixed in Windows 8.1 . Paul
