It did not occur to me that the phone would allow the connection. > > Been there, done that, got the T-shirt! :-) Yeah, I see :-) I've never tethered a computer using Windows, only with Linux (using openSUSE). It is easier to control what uses Internet, although distros try to emulate Windows. I have to manually disable the automatic updater (it looks for updates but does not install them; one variant downloads them as well) or uninstall it, then do manual updates when convenient. -- Cheers, Carlos.
