I haven't seen him lately but there was a man who was doing the best pirate tradition with a parrot on his shoulder. His t-shirt was ripped to shreds and covered with parrot shit.

I haven't seen any here, not in the city. I saw a cute one in a park far
from cities, when we were chasing shooting stars. He or she approached
and nibbled my sandals, then went away. I think I saw the same friendly
one a few times. I had to close my car door lest he tried a ride.
I have seen wild boars in cities, though, they are a nuisance and dangerous.

Well, they on longer have enemies in the wild (no wolves, for instance),
and hunting has become a limited activity.
Sunburn? I don't think it is a problem for them, they have lots of hair.

It is prohibited here to feed doves, I forgot to mention.

Because they are considered a pest, I understand. Pigeons or doves, I
don't know, it is the same word in Spanish.

Montana's laws are complex. Mourning doves are game birds and specifically feeding them to attract them probably is illegal. Migratory waterfowl have another set of regulations and feeding the ducks is questionable. Wild turkeys have their own set of rules, then there are restrictions about feeding birds in a manner that will attract bears or deer. One winter a herd of turkeys showed up at my bird feeder and I bought a turkey specific block for them. Probably illegal but I doubt fish & game would issue citations. Rock doves, aka pigeons, are an invasive species. They're a smart invasive species and hang around in the city where discharging firearms is prohibited.

Sorting the species out is difficult but I've seen a pair of mourning doves where I live and they aren't a problem. Some areas in the city have flocks of pigeons that are a nuisance. Some good soul posted to the local subreddit about what to do with an injured pigeon. Responses ran from feed it to the cat or eat it. They aren't popular birds. I don't even remember the correct name but the city near where I grew up had 'Pigeon Park'. A guy had a popcorn pushcart and sold popcorn and peanuts. so the pigeons were well fed.

Yes I have one! in a hand cranked flashlight. But also a big solar panel, and 3 more flexable solar panels, those are actually for on a boat, but can be layed out in the garden if needed. And a 250 Ah lifepo4 battery pack and a 12V to 230V pure sinewave inverter, https://panteltje.nl/pub/250_Ah_12V_to_230V_sinewave_IXXIMG_0796.JPG and chargers, all stuff. Survival :-) Experiment: https://panteltje.nl/panteltje/raspberry_pi_dvb-s_transmitter/ The code is interesting, DVB-S generator.
