It's not "file sharing" if it isn't both directions,
now is it. That's not what the words "file sharing"
mean. Neither is smb:// on purpose, designed to be
unidirectional.

Bluetooth transfer on the platforms I use, is
symmetric. There is a transmit menu item and
a receive menu item.

The porpose-built protocols are also intended to be
symmetric. Unless the OS places some restriction
on it. You would "expect" a DCIM folder to be
bidirectional, by tradition.
