      I have all "Connected..." services disabled. Do you use
bluetooth devices? XBox? If so then you might want to check
whether they work with the service disabled.

    In case you don't know, you can also find info by looking
at the dependencies tab in the service's properties
windows. In this case it has nothing depending on it.

    There's a site, blackviper.com, that used to have good
help files to figure out services. He seems to have stopped doing
that altogether, having descended into some kind of gaming mania.
I don't know of any other good sources. You just have to do what
you've been doing -- search on the service names.
