It is not possible for such a conversion to happen automatically and by accident. If a software to do such a conversion exists, it takes hours to do it. AOMEI Partition Assistant is such a software, so perhaps you told it to do the conversion from ntfs to fat32 before powering down, and the thing ran during the night.
