Day 153, 2 June 2026 1) Proverbs 4 , Proverbs 5 , Proverbs 6 Proverbs 4 Wisdom Is Supreme 1 (Pr 1:8; Ps 34:11) Hear, O children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding. 2 (Dt 32:2) For I give you good precepts; do not forsake my teaching. 3 (1Ch 22:5; 29:1) For I was my father's son, tender and the only beloved in the sight of my mother. 4 (Pr 7:2; Eph 6:4) He also taught me and said to me, "Let your heart retain my words; keep my commandments, and live. 5 Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget it, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. 6 (2Th 2:10) Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you; love her, and she will keep you. 7 (Mt 13:44-46) Wisdom is principal; therefore get wisdom. And with all your getting, get understanding. 8 (1Sa 2:30) Exalt her, and she will promote you; she will bring you honor, when you embrace her. 9 (Pr 1:9) She will place on your head an ornament of grace; a crown of glory she will deliver to you." 10 (Pr 3:2 ) Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, and the years of your life will be many. 11 I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths. 12 (Pr 3:23; Ps 18:36 ) When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, and when you run, you will not stumble. 13 (Pr 3:18; 3:22) Take firm hold of instruction, do not let her go; keep her, for she is your life. 14 (Ps 1:1; Pr 1:15) Do not enter the path of the wicked, and do not go in the way of evil men. 15 Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and pass on. 16 (Ps 36:4; Mic 2:1) For they do not sleep unless they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away unless they cause some to fall. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence. 18 (2Sa 23:4; Job 11:17 ) But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day. 19 (Isa 59:9-10; Jn 12:35( The way of the wicked is as darkness; they do not know at what they stumble. 20 (Pr 5:1) My son, attend to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. 21 (Pr 3:21; 2:1 ) Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; 22 (Pr 3:8; 12:18) for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their body. 23 (Lk 6:45; Pr 4:7 ) Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. 24 Put away from you a deceitful mouth, and put perverse lips far from you. 25 Let your eyes look right on, and let your eyelids look straight before you. 26 (Pr 5:6; Heb 12:13) Ponder the path of your feet, and let all your ways be established. 27 (Dt 5:32; 28:14) Do not turn to the right or to the left; remove your foot from evil. Proverbs 4 A Father's Instruction 1 Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, And attend to know understanding. 2 For I give you good doctrine, F orsake ye not my law. 3 For I was my father's son, Tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother. 4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: Keep my commandments, and live. 5 Get wisdom, get understanding: Forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. 6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: Love her, and she shall keep thee. 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding. 8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: She shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. 9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: A crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. 10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; And the years of thy life shall be many. 11 I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. 12 When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; And when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. 13 Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: Keep her; for she is thy life. 14 Enter not into the path of the wicked, And go not in the way of evil men. 15 Avoid it, pass not by it, Turn from it, and pass away. 16 For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; And their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. 17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, And drink the wine of violence. 18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day. 19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: They know not at what they stumble. 20 My son, attend to my words; Incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; Keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, And health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life. 24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, And perverse lips put far from thee. 25 Let thine eyes look right on, And let thine eyelids look straight before thee. 26 Ponder the path of thy feet, And let all thy ways be established. 27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: Remove thy foot from evil. Proverbs 5 Warning Against Adultery [Pornography] 1 (Pr 4:20; 22:17) My son, attend to my wisdom, and bow your ear to my understanding, 2 that you may regard discretion, and that your lips may keep knowledge. 3 (Ps 55:21; Pr 2:16) For the lips of an immoral woman drip as a honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil. 4 (Ecc 7:26; Ps 55:21) But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. 5 (Pr 7:27) Her feet go down to death, her steps take hold of Sheol. 6 (Pr 4:26) She does not ponder the path of life; her ways are unstable, and she does not know it. 7 (Pr 4:1) Hear me now therefore, O children, and do not depart from the words of my mouth. 8 Remove your way far from her, and do not go near the door of her house, 9 lest you give your honor to others, and your years to the cruel; 10 lest strangers be filled with your wealth, and your labors go to the house of a stranger; 11 and you mourn at the last, when your flesh and your body are consumed, 12 (Pr 12:1; 1:22) and say, "How I have hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof! 13 And I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me! 14 I was almost in utter ruin in the midst of the congregation and assembly." 15 Drink waters out of your own cistern, and running waters out of your own well. 16 (Ps 68:26) Should your fountains be dispersed abroad, streams of water in the streets? 17 Let them be only your own, and not for strangers with you. 18 (Ecc 9:9) Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice with the wife of your youth. 19 (SS 2:9; 4:5) Let her be as the loving deer and pleasant doe; let her breasts satisfy you at all times; and always be enraptured with her love. 20 (Pr 6:24; 7:5 ) Why should you, my son, be intoxicated by an immoral woman, and embrace the bosom of a seductress? 21 (Hos 7:2; Heb 4:13) For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and He ponders all his goings. 22 (Ps 7:15-16; 9:15) His own iniquities entrap the wicked himself, and he is snared in the cords of his sins. 23 (Job 4:21; 36:12) He will die for lack of instruction, and in the greatness of his folly he will go astray. Proverbs 5 1 My son, attend unto my wisdom, And bow thine ear to my understanding: 2 That thou mayest regard discretion, And that thy lips may keep knowledge. 3 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, And her mouth is smoother than oil: 4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, Sharp as a twoedged sword. 5 Her feet go down to death; Her steps take hold on hell. 6 Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, Her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them. 7 Hear me now therefore, O ye children, And depart not from the words of my mouth. 8 Remove thy way far from her, And come not nigh the door of her house: 9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, And thy years unto the cruel: 10 Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; And thy labours be in the house of a stranger; 11 And thou mourn at the last, When thy flesh and thy body are consumed, 12 And say, How have I hated instruction, And my heart despised reproof; 13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me! 14 I was almost in all evil In the midst of the congregation and assembly. 15 Drink waters out of thine own cistern, And running waters out of thine own well. 16 Let thy fountains be dispersed abroad, And rivers of waters in the streets. 17 Let them be only thine own, And not strangers' with thee. 18 Let thy fountain be blessed: And rejoice with the wife of thy youth. 19 Let her be as the loving hind and pleasant roe; Let her breasts satisfy thee at all times; And be thou ravished always with her love. 20 And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, And embrace the bosom of a stranger? 21 For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, And he pondereth all his goings. 22 His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, And he shall be holden with the cords of his sins. 23 He shall die without instruction; And in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. Proverbs 6 Warning Against Pledges 1 (Pr 11:15; 17:18) My son, if you put up a security for your friend, if you have shaken hands with a stranger, 2 you are snared with the words of your mouth; you are taken with the words of your mouth. 3 Do this now, my son, and deliver yourself; when you have come into the hand of your friend, go and humble yourself; plead with your friend. 4 (Ps 132:4) Give no sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids. 5 (Ps 91:3; 124:7) Deliver yourself as a doe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler. 1 My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, If thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger, 2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, Thou art taken with the words of thy mouth. 3 Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, When thou art come into the hand of thy friend; Go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend. 4 Give not sleep to thine eyes, Nor slumber to thine eyelids. 5 Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, And as a bird from the hand of the fowler. The Folly of Idleness 6 (Pr 10:26; 20:4 ) Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise. 7 Which, having no guide, overseer, or ruler, 8 (Pr 10:5 ) provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. 9 (Pr 24:33-34) How long will you sleep, O sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep? 10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep- 11 (Pr 24:34) so will your poverty come upon you like a stalker, and your need as an armed man. 6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; Consider her ways, and be wise: 7 Which having no guide, Overseer, or ruler, 8 Provideth her meat in the summer, And gathereth her food in the harvest. 9 How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep? 10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep: 11 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, And thy want as an armed man. The Wicked Man 12 (Pr 4:24 ) A wayward person, a wicked man, walks with a perverse mouth. 13 (Ps 35:19; Pr 10:10 ) He winks with his eyes, he signals with his feet, he motions with his fingers; 14 (Mic 2:1; Pr 6:18-19) perversity is in his heart, he devises mischief continually, he sows discord. 15 (2Ch 36:16; Jer 19:11 ) Therefore his calamity will come suddenly; in a moment he will be broken without remedy. 16 These six things the Lord hates, yes, seven are an abomination to him: 17 (Pr 12:22; Isa 1:15 ) a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 (Ge 6:5; Pr 1:16) a heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that are swift in running to mischief, 19 (Ps 27:12; Pr 6:14) a false witness who speaks lies, and he who sows discord among brethren. 12 A naughty person, a wicked man, Walketh with a froward mouth. 13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, He teacheth with his fingers; 14 Frowardness is in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; He soweth discord. 15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; Suddenly shall he be broken without remedy. 16 These six things doth the LORD hate: Yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, Feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, And he that soweth discord among brethren. Warning Against Adultery 20 (Eph 6:1 ) My son, keep your father's commandment, and do not forsake the instruction of your mother. 21 (Pr 3:3) Bind them continually upon your heart, and tie them around your neck. 22 (Pr 2:11; 3:23-24) When you go, they will lead you; when you sleep, they will keep you; and when you awake, they will speak with you. 23 (Ps 119:105; 19:8) For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life, 24 (Pr 2:16; 7:5) to keep you from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a seductress. 25 (2Ki 9:30; Mt 5:28) Do not lust after her beauty in your heart, nor let her allure you with her eyelids. 26 (Pr 29:3; 1Sa 2:36 ) For by means of a harlot a man is reduced to a piece of bread, and the adulteress will prey upon his precious life. 27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? 28 Can one walk upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? 29 So he who goes in to his neighbor's wife; whoever touches her will not be innocent. 30 Men do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is hungry. 31 But if he is found, he will restore sevenfold; he will give all the substance of his house. 32 (Pr 7:7; 7:22-23) But whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; he who does it destroys his own soul. 33 (Pr 5:9-11) A wound and dishonor will he get, and his reproach will not be wiped away. 34 (Pr 27:4; SS 8:6) For jealousy is the rage of a man; therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance. 35 He will not regard any ransom, nor will he rest content, though you give many gifts. 20 My son, keep thy father's commandment, And forsake not the law of thy mother: 21 Bind them continually upon thine heart, And tie them about thy neck. 22 When thou goest, it shall lead thee; When thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; And when thou awakest, it shall talk with thee. 23 For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; And reproofs of instruction are the way of life: 24 To keep thee from the evil woman, From the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. 25 Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; Neither let her take thee with her eyelids. 26 For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: And the adulteress will hunt for the precious life. 27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, And his clothes not be burned? 28 Can one go upon hot coals, And his feet not be burned? 29 So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; Whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent. 30 Men do not despise a thief, if he steal To satisfy his soul when he is hungry; 31 But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; He shall give all the substance of his house. 32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: He that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. 33 A wound and dishonour shall he get; And his reproach shall not be wiped away. 34 For jealousy is the rage of a man: Therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance. 35 He will not regard any ransom; Neither will he rest content, though thou givest many gifts. 2) Our Daily Bread for 2 June 2026 titles Our Part, God's Part by Leslie Koh Philippians 2:12-13 12 (2Co 7:15; Php 1:5) Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but so much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 (Heb 13:21; Ezr 1:5) For God is the One working in you, both to will and to do His good pleasure. [12] Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. [13] For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Philippians 3:12-16 12 (1Co 13:10; 1Ti 6:19) Not that I have already attained or have already been perfected, but I follow after it so that I may lay hold of that for which I was seized by Christ Jesus. 13 (Lk 9:62; Ps 45:10) Brothers, I do not count myself to have attained, but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 (Heb 3:1; 1Pe 5:10) I press toward the goal to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 15 (1Co 2:6; Gal 5:10) Therefore let those of us who are mature be thus minded. And if you think differently in any way, God will reveal even this to you. 16 (Gal 6:16) Nevertheless, according to what we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind. [12] Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. [13] Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, [14] I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. [15] Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. [16] Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. In Singapore, the government encourages people to support good causes by donation-matching. It "tops up" "donations to specific charities by contributing an equal amount or more. By effectively multiplying people's contributions, it hopes to encourage them to become more involved in charitable giving. This two-pronged approach reminds me of how believers in Jesus are called to God's standards of holiness in our discipleship journey. In his letter to the Philippians, Paul urges them "to work out [their] salvation" (2:12) and "press on" (3:12, 14). At the same time, he stresses that "it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose" (2:13). Believers in Jesus aren't made right with God by good works or performance. But there is an idea of partnership in our spiritual growth. It requires heart and effort on our part, yet we do not do it by human strength. Having saved us by grace, God calls us to be holy - set apart for Him - and we respond in sincerity and gratitude. As we seek to obey and please Him, He enables and helps us to do so. He shows us when we go wrong (Philippians 3:15), gives us strength to resist temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13), and empowers us to do what's right in His eyes (Ephesians 2:10). Reflect & Pray What are your biggest challenges in seeking to be faithful and pleasing to God? How can you rely more on the Holy Spirit's strength? Holy God, please help me to be holy and faithful in my journey, for I know that You desire me to be like Your Son Jesus. Learn more here about having a personal relationship with God 3) Daily verses taken from Billy Graham Evangelical Organisation Words in Season Scripture Memory Tools Week 6 Showing Grace to Others - Day 3 The Kind Heart of Forgiveness Ephesians 4:32 32 (2Co 2:10; Col 3:12-13; Mt 6:12) And be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you. 32 and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Don had lost his job because he stood against his boss and refused to compromise his Christian principles. Certain friends in the company had turned against him, choosing to save their own jobs at any cost, and he felt very alone, abandoned when he most needed the support of those who cared. But Don showed no signs of bitterness or unforgiveness. He refused to recite the details of his firing to those around him, saying simply and honestly, " I believe my boss was wrong in what he did. But God can show him." The kindness of Don's heart, and the tenderness with which he extended forgiveness, became a testimony to all who knew him. Don's boss never "saw the light", never repented, but Don lived in the freedom of forgiving. Comparison is a rare commodity among Christains today. We seem to be overstocked with judgment and crammed full of condemnation, but we have little space in the corners of our lives for tenderheartedness. We are quick to assume that we know another person's heart and have the remedy for the problem, rather then giving that person the benefit of the doubt, the room to grow, the freedom to make a mistake and seek forgiveness. Jesus demonstrated the king compassion necessary in forgiveness when he looked down at the soldiers who has crucified him, gambling at his feet for his cloak, and said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what are doing." When others hurt and betray us, they often "do not know what they are doing." we can, in Christ, offer compassionate forgiveness to them - not condoning their actions or excusing their wrong, but forgiving , in the simplicity and purity of God's love. Application a) What is the difference between excusing a wrong and forgiving? b) How has God forgiven me for Christ's sake? c) What does today's verse tell me about my attitude in forgiveness? 4) Prosperity verses from Kenneth Copeland Deut 28:11 11 (Dt 28:4; 30:9) The Lord will make you overflow in prosperity, in the offspring of your body, in the offspring of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you. 11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee. 5) From a Book called God's Promises for you: When you are lonely 1 John 4:16b-18 God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 17 (1Jn 2:5; 2:28) In this way God's love is perfected in us, so that we may have boldness on the Day of Judgment, because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 (Ro 8:15; 2Ti 1:7) There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. Whoever fears is not perfect in love. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. 17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. Remember God's promises when You pray The Lord's prayer Matthew 6:9-13 9 "Therefore pray in this manner: Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name. 10 (Mt 3:2; 4:17) Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. 11 (Pr 30:8; Isa 33:16) Give us this day our daily bread. 12 (Ex 34:7; Ps 32:1) And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 (1Co 10:13; Jn 17:15) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. 6) This come from Praying for Muslims in Canada 2015 (Is there a 2022 edition?) Quebec Quick facts on Muslims in Quebec Quebec 2015 population 8214 000 est Muslim Population 418946 CNMM Networks: Montreal There is a growing Muslim population in Quebec City and a smattering of Muslims scattered around the rest of the province, yet the vast majority of Muslims live in the greater Montreal area. n fact, 23% of Canada's Muslim population live in Quebec. Why is that? It is largely because Francophone African Muslims are attracted to La Belle Provence. And here's an interesting, perhaps even shocking fact: There are more Muslims in Montreal than there are evangelical Christians. This is one demographic factor creates a challenging environment for churches and believers here: The size of the available 'workforce' is small by comparison to begin with. Believers are already is a host culture that is often either indifferent to religion or resistant to it. And now this 'new' religious community of Muslims - many of whom do not visibly or socially conform to Quebec society - are a growing population. It might br easy for Christians to feel overwhelm by this cultural double-whammy, yet God has always worked miracles through the small, the few. Agree in prayer for : - The people of Quebec, Muslim or otherwise, to be open to the Gospel - for Muslims who are encountering believers and responding -for a new group of Muslim background believers who are meeting together for worship! - For pastors and believers to be full of passion, faith and vision for reaching Muslims in Quebec. Adding further 30 days of prayer for the Muslim World 24 April to 23 May 2020 Under the Keep Praying page When the new moon is sighted it marks the beginning of t he new Islamic month and Eid al-Fitr, the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", will start! After 30 days of fasting, the Eid celebration at the end of Ramadan is a joyful time that usually lasts about 3 days. Muslims will buy new clothes, exchange gifts and, of course, enjoy special foods. In Muslim-majority nations, the streets may be decorated and festivals will be held. For many Muslims, Eid-al-Fitr begins with communal prayers at daybreak and the distribution of money (zakat) to the poor, which is one of the 5 pillars of Islam. You can greet Muslim friends during this time by saying "Eid Mubarak", which means Blessed Eid!" Ramadan is over for this year, but you can continue to pray for Muslims you know, and Muslims around the world: - Despite the unsettling developments in our world today that involve actions in the name of Islam, there is at the same time a largely untold story about unprecedented movement to Christ among Muslims. There have been more such movements of thousands or more new disciples among Muslims in the last three decades or so than in all the previous history of Christian Muslim relationships! Pray for this momentum to continue. Acts 2:12-17 : 17 "In the last days it shall be," says God, "that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. 18 Even on My menservants and maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy. 19 And I will show wonders in heaven above and signs on the earth below: blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke. 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and glorious day of the Lord comes. 21 And whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."[a] Footnotes Acts 2:21 Joel 2:28-32. - Pray for Christian workers an organisations focused on seeing effective discipleship movements among Muslim people. - Ask the Holy Spirit to continue to inspire you to have god's heart for Muslims, to see them as He does, and to be the light that then to Jesus. Matthew 5:14-15 : 14 "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do men light a candle and put it under a basket, but on a candlestick. And it gives light to all who are in the house." Ideas for prayer - Pray for opportunities to show the love of Christ to Muslims around you - Pray for, and offer generous hospitality to, those you know who are serving Christ among Muslim people - Romans 12:13 "contribute to the needs of the saints, practice hospitality." - When you gather with fellow believers, remember to pray for Muslims throughout the year and encourage them to also participate in 30 Days! And Thank you for praying through the 5 Days of Prayer for Sikhs. "My name is Kam. I'm 29 years of age, and I grew up Sikh. As a teenager, I struggled with depression, brokenness, and addiction to cannabis. I didn't know how to stop or how to get help. Then a friend invited me to church. As I spent time with Christians and heard the message of the Gospel, I experienced the love of Jesus Christ, and it was like nothing I'd known before. One night I had a dream where I saw Him - a figure surrounded by light who I knew was Jesus, the light of the world. As I began to understand the gospel message, I encountered a reassuring and confident solution to the problem of sin. I knew that I needed a solution to my sin problem, and I gave my life to Christ. Slowly, God began to heal my broken heart and my addiction. Nine years have passed, and I am a devoted husband and a father to two beautiful boys. I grow deeper in love with Jesus each day. I ask you to continue praying with me, and others around the world, for Sikhs. God is the only one who can draw people to Himself. He works in and through the prayers of His people. I want Sikhs to know the freedom and healing that is only available through Jesus Christ." 13 (Ro 14:17; 12:12) Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
