I'm hoping that my new AccuStock-compatible barrel lug arrives for my
Savage Axis .308 today so that I can re-assemble the 10 pieces that it
has been decimated into and re-barrel, confirm headspace with go and no-
go gauges, re-insert the ejector pin + spring and extractor + BB + spring
into the bolt face, reattach the pic rail and scope, redo the bore
sighting, etc.
It's clusterfuxxing my workshop. I might have to organize down there
this morning and move everything for the .308 to one bench. I also have
a bike fork to loctite so that I can put that bike back together soon to
test out and see if that's a viable fix for the issue it's having or if I
should start looking for a new fork.
I'll probably start back up on fixing my friend's guitar effects pedals
once I make some space on my main workbench.
