But, 6,000 or 60,000, it doesn't really matter at all. What matters is God created man in His image and he did so well after man not in His image evolved or was evolving. Apparently, appearance-wise the two were quite similar. This tells me "God's image" pertains more to the brain/mind than to the physical body. Adam originally did not know good and evil. His knowledge of good and evil came later when Eve tempted him and he learned it. Evolved man was inherently evil, knew the difference and actually embraced evil. -- Yours Truly, Gregory Hall "Tsk, tsk. No one appreciates his brilliance, poor fellow. That explanation doesn't work. As I recall the > >story of Adam and Eve, they were the first and ONLY humans. > > I don't know for sure about the veracity of > the 6,000 year time frame. But, 6,000 or 60,000, > it doesn't really matter at all. > > What matters is God created man in His image > and he did so well after man not in His image > evolved or was evolving. > > Apparently, appearance-wise the two were quite > similar. This tells me "God's image" pertains > more to the brain/mind than to the physical > body. Adam originally did not know good and > evil. His knowledge of good and evil came later > when Eve tempted him and he learned it. > > Evolved man was inherently evil, knew the difference > and actually embraced evil. I've never seen anything in the bible that says there were other humans around at the time he supposedly created Adam and Eve, and why would he need to use a rib from Adam to create Eve? He didn't need one to create Adam. Admit it, the whole story is just stupid. -- Checkmate ® Author, Humorist, Cynic Philosopher, Humanitarian Poet, Elektrishun to the Stars Usenet Shot-Caller Copyright © 2018 all rights reserved In loving memory of The Battle Kitten May 2010-February 12, 2017 "There are many here among us, who feel that life is but a joke."
