Showering? No. Well, except in my dreams, every night that Voyager was on.
I see she's coming back in the new "Picard" series too.
Great render including that great Sci-Fi Crew Quarters set!

That would be on "CBS All Access", that apparently streams shows 24/7 with
no ads, for $5.99/month.
I don't get it but it doesn't sound too bad. They say you can cancel anytime
you want. Strange. It seems like a pretty narrow audience pool to me. I
wonder why they chose them?

Might be that the CBS Studios actually funded (Publisher crap again!) the
show development and production. They don't want to be left completely at
ZERO "Star Trek" property profits it seems.
I am trying to remember what station aired the original Star Trek in the
sixties. Seems it might have been the ABC network and affiliates. CBS was
almost always The Butt back then. ABC was the Backbone, NBC was the Head
but PBS was the Brain. ;o)
UPN (Universal) put out Voyager, DS9 and Enterprise. And they were on UHF
channels, not VHF where the "Big Three Plus PBS" were. And maybe still are!
Gee that's older than...than..... ME! Sheesh!
I will poke around the local stations on DISH and see whassup there.
McG. :o)

Yeah, and we would plan family viewing by the ladies all getting the snacks
and drinks ready ahead of time, then Pop would tune the station if he was
home, or I'd try to if he wasn't. Then we'd all sit and veg out watching
whatever show it was, munching and sipping, enjoying a bit of family time.
We did that for the very first episode of Star Trek. And for Wizard of Oz
every year. And anytime Sound of Music came on. So sweet n gooey yaknow?
LOL! We had both rabbit ears and an outdoor antenna. It always had to be
turned for the station. Oh the fun ol days eh? :)

LOL!! I'm old enough to remember a plastic toggle switch on the rabbit ears
antenna to switch from VHF (Very High Frequency) to UHF (Ultra High
Frequency). Then you had to fine-tune each channel by turning a knob until
the picture was as clear as possible. Of course, by the time you got back to
your seat it was all screwed up again because YOU were part of the antenna
while you stood there. My Dad was always the one who people said, "Yes! You
got it! Now just stay there until the show is over."
He sometimes lasted almost 30 seconds before just walking away. :o)

<LOL>!! Yup!
For us, the outdoor antenna was on the peak of our roof. That later changed
to a tall narrow tower out in the back yard.
We wouldn't have believed that cable would soon be a thing.

I was a grown man, married and the eldest one in a crib in her room all
Winnie The Pooh decorated with her smearing her "play dough" all over
everything she could reach. Herself included. The wife fell asleep
watching a show, the baby was too quiet yaknow? I went in to check on her
and found the new all yellow-brown paint job on everything. Sigh. Can't
leave a baby in THAT. Took two hours to clean and change everything. I
moved the crib and Clorox'ed the entire wall and crib. Sat with Heather on
my chest and watched some Sci-Fi oldie that was on. The thing about cable
that really did surprise me was there was no fine-tuning anything. Once ya
hook up and have a picture, its good to go. The quality and clarity was
shockingly good. I recall thinking yeah that's sure worth it! but it was
only like $50 a month back then. Now, well, my sis and BiL are paying like
$250 a month for DISH's stuff. Package deal. And 3 receivers. My "total
communications" is AT&T, unlimited everything, pay as I go, $65 + taxes =
$71.66 a month. And I can stream movies all day long if I want!
Sometimes, though rarely, there are slow-downs. But hey, this is my CELL
PHONE man! And its faster than DSL here! LOL!

I guess I'd spring for a month just to see a full episode. I don't like
the show, Krypton. I didn't like Arrow and I never got a chance to
like/dislike the Shannara Chronicles as I never got to see an episode of it.
BUT, the episodic nature of the programs named really slams down hard and
kills the EPIC nature of every single one of those stories. And I fear,
Terry Brooks books too. Just my humble opinion, yaknow? If they made
MOVIES of the books, like the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit books, they'd be
great I think.
You simply cannot tell the story of Cogline, Allanon, Paranor or Kimber Boh
in little bitty episodes.

I don't know if you've heard, but YouTube has gone all Netflix-like and
started producing a few of their own Sci-Fi series. I just watched the first
season of one called "Impulse" and I'm impressed. I imagine they'll start
charging for Season 2 but I don't know for sure. If you get a chance, you
should watch it. It's free right on YouTube. Just do a search there for
"Impulse". There are 10 episodes.
I just did a render of it that I'll post in a minute. ;o)

Thumbs up bro! Got it going on YouTube now :) S1 EP1 starts off with a
teleporter hopping back and forth between a iceberg and a subway car and two
men fighting like dogs. Just the first five minutes so far, but I'm
curious whassup! :)

Yeah, they jump back and forth between the ice cold north sea and a subway
car, bringing the water with them and flooding the car.
The real star is this cute blond who has the power but doesn't know it yet.
It makes an excellent series IMHO but of course, your mileage may vary. :o)
