Well, speaking from a European perspective, we the workers have a legal right to paid holiday. This goes for every employer. So I reckon we should all come out on strike against this Lord chap until he acknowledges our rights! We demand an Exodus 35:3 "and two weeks a year there shall be to you a fully paid holiday to take wherever you want but the Costa del Sol is pretty damn nice in August".
