God was never alive, unless you count the first cave men that invented
a god to explain the thunder and lightning, or perhaps the fire that
the lightning created, those few that thought up the first god are
dead yes.

Now if you are talking about the fairies that are worshiped today well
sorry but still never was alive. Evolve you are a complete idiot for
saying that god is a he anyway, If fairies were real then your god
would not be a he, that should be the first hint that your
gods/fairies were created by men.

If you wish to carry this further then one can say that the *idea* of
god is not dead but it has taken a mortal wound and it is nearing the
end.

A lot of theists are finally realizing what we atheists have known for
quite some time. They are finally putting their stupidity behind them
and starting to realize that this idea that has been brainwashed into
other by idiots like you is what is destroying this world as it stands
today, and the only way we can overcome this and evolve as a species
is to first get rid of the idiot Trump in the white house and then to
drop these ideas that fairies exist.

"Atheism is certainly not a belief in any sort of superhuman power, nor is it categorized by worship in any meaningful sense. Widening the definition of 'religious' to encompass atheism tends to result in many other aspects of human behavior suddenly becoming classed as 'religious' as well; such as science, politics, and watching TV."

I believe the question was not meant to be taken literally. This, of course, was Nietzche's thesis.

How did you determine that? (I'm genuinely curious about this because I've always found it challenging to discern implications such as that, just like I also find it difficult to detect sarcasm and satire.)

Indeed, Friedrich Nietzsche was one of history's notable philosophers, and is famously quoted for "God is dead" -- I have quoted him on that exactly on a number of occasions.
