Yep. Most of the atheists here are sane.
They don't believe in unevidenced super-beings, unlike you.

Of course not. The only proof they show is proof of the gullibility of

Gospel of Thomas. The biggest news on the historical Jesus since the Bible, (or maybe regardless), according to academic experts.

That's how historians figure it out. The Gospel of Thomas, the Christian Gospels and a few other sources generally considered inferior (true except for James.)

Along with understanding the sociology and history of the time.

The zombie act comes from Paul. The disciples, of course, didn't believe in any such thing. And the first Christian Gospel, Mark, (70CE) has no zombie act for the first 5 centuries after the cross. It was added by the Catholic Church, no old copy has it. Most modern bibles leave it out or note that it's probably bogus.

Paul had to claim Jesus did a zombie act, because he never met Jesus, other than when he killed him and virtually all his followers. But to pretend to convert, so he could finish them off and destroy their ideas, he had to claim he talked to him after he murdered him.

Other than Paul, the zombie thing first shows up in the later Christian Gospels (90CE) Matthew, Luke and John.

The original Gospel of Jesus, the Gospel of Thomas, written when he was still alive, doesn't have any zombie act, and no other superstition whatsoever. All these Christian Gospels were published in that background that everyone knew about Thomas already. In the Gospel of John, written/edited 100% to refute the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of the disciples, Thomas is cast as the "doubting Thomas" who, like the Gospel, didn't believe in the zombie act. It was written to show the author of the doubting Gospel of Thomas, admitted he was wrong, discrediting the Gospel.

Which, incidentally demonstrates it was called "Thomas" when the disciples were still around to refute he wrote it, when Jesus was still alive. They didn't.
