I am German and 'Priester' (priests) of 'EKD' (Evangelische Kirche Deutschlands ~ evangelical church of Germany) do not own large mansions. Also the churches are not that large, even if some buildings are huge. EKD is a certain form of protestantism, which is typical for Germany. Cadillacs (then considered the very "richest" American production
automobile), and wondered why he was unable to haul his holy arse
about in seven Fords. He did not live in a shack, either:

and the fact that their services are typically held miles up dirt
roads from any medical facility, does them in quicker than the dodgy

A church is a Hospitol for sinnners...as a hospitol is a place for injured bodies, the church is for injured souls. You cannot go to your doctor and tell him you murdered somebody...your soul hurts.
