We trust factual science but not pseudo-science.

Nope, he's just someone who if he was real would be tried for crimes against humanity.

Yes, but God doesn't.

I didn't say it was a "thing," shit-for-brains. I said it exists. The Old Testament mentions "evil" any number of times.

Have you ever been *TRICKED* into sinning?

Or did you fully understand that it was wrong
at the very time that you did it?

Do you have any regrets for what you did?

And have you apologized?

There is no right from wrong in atheism, since they
say everything is just natural. They have no agreed
upon moral standard that defines right from wrong.

And they don't subscribe to the Eve story,
which tells us that you are not an atheist.

.> There is no right from wrong in atheism, since they

Atheism is not about morality, any more than chemistry
is about morality or stamp collecting is about
morality. Atheism is simply a lack of a certain
belief.

However, atheists are people, and people have an
inherent sense of empathy. And all of our morality,
Christian, Buddhist, Shintoist, agnostic, or atheist,
proceeds from that sense of empathy.

It does not proceed from the edicts of some being who --
his followers solemnly inform us -- condemned to death
every man, woman, and child who were ever to be born,
as well as all of the earth's innocent animals, for the
minor transgressive act of the most naive and innocent
young couple that ever lived.

Or so the legend has it.

Hard to construct a sense of morality on the example of
a monster like that. Even if It had been real.

_______

But YOU do, you fucking piece of shit. YOU do!!!

We're staying within the confines of the Christian religion here.

Your God abhors evil on one hand, but is the very Creator of very evil itself on the other. Re-read John 1:3, Colossians 1:16, and Revelation 4:11.

How mentally ill of a God to create very evil itself, but then abhor it and punish those deceived and tricked into doing evil with ETERNAL punishment, you low-life shit-head?

Don't try and conflate what the atheist concept of evil might be with the Christian concept of evil is. You're only trying to confuse, is all. And *deliberately* so, you lump of religiously-diseased and brainwashed rodent.

You forever more did. You consistently stated that God created evil. Evil is
not created, it's an attitude, an evil one.

Don't tell me what's in atheism you twit. Of curse there's right and wrong
, how else would we know we don't ant people like you here?

Of course we have right and wrong, murder, is wrong, rape is wrong, robbery, assault, battery, I find all of these things to be wrong. I don't know WTF you mean by everything is natural. I think if you actually paid any attention, you'd find that most atheists agree on the big crimes. Any act that cause bodily harm would certainly be on the list of morally wrong actions.
Right from wrong is not that difficult, you certainly don't need god for that.

The only thing it tells you is that I was entertaining the Eve story for the sake of discussion you stupid fuck. If we assume for the sake of discussion that story is true, then Eve was tricked into eating from the tree of knowledge.

I am an atheist. I think the Bible is nothing but a few historical facts and whole lot of bullshit. I think it ha virtually no value as a teaching tool on how to live life. I don't accept that any of the supernatural crap ever happened, and I don't care about the rest.
