But it does show that we humans are predisposed to give it far more weight than it deserves. A believer standing up in a church service and "testifying" that prayer and god's love cured her of cancer makes a far bigger impression than a whole room full of doctors and scientists with studies and hard medical evidence to prove that it was really her chemotherapy.
