Or the account of Timothy Messer-Kruse's attempts to correct
completely bogus information about the Haymarket Riot, in which the
powers that be at Wikpedia said point blaank that public opinion
takes precendence over actual fact, regardless of who factually
incorrect it is.

the secret to getting to edit Wiki is to insert misinformation... accurate, correct and true information is not allowed in Wiki.

I'll give you an example of inaccurate, incorrect and untrue information posted on Wiki:

Here is a patent of Albert Einstein REFRIDERATION process
https://patentimages.storage.googleapis.com/pages/US1781541-0.png

Here you see on WIKI somebody inserted at the bottom using old time fontss Calligraphy "Einstei's refrigerator"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Einstein_refrigerator#/media/File:Einstein_Refrigerator.png

Einstein clearly wrote REFRIDERATION, not refriderator as 'they' want you to think. It's fraud and misinformation.

All Einstein's patent is for a cooling system for atomic bomb reactors:

Huh? The patent at patentimages.storage clearly says "refrigeration", no
"d".

Besides which:
(a) why would Electrolux have any interest in "atomic bomb reactors"
in 1927,
(b) the process described is one useful for cooling soda, not reactors
(c) WTF is an "atomic bomb reactor" anyway
(d) Why am I replying to a post on a Starmaker thread to begin with

You can make two kinds of A bombs. One uses U235, separating it out
from the far more common U238.

The other kind uses a nuclear reactor to turn U238 into plutoniium.
The various reactors at Hanford could be considered "atomic bomb
reactors."

Never heard anyone in the physics or engineering community refer to
one as such. And in any case that particular reactor was not a
boiling water reactor of the kind that starnumbnuts linked nor did it
use anything resembling the refrigeration system it was bleating
about.

You can also make an A bomb out of U233 (India did so). It's not a
very *good* A bomb, but it will explode in a chain reaction.

I thought that India was using Pu from CANDU reactors. Or do they do
some of each? I wasn't aware of U233 bombs.

The U233 was their very early efforts, in 1998, and I believe was
motivated by their extensive deposits of thorium (which can fairly
easily be turned into U233). The results were dissapointing enough
that they didn't bother beyond that.

Therein lies the real question. Doug appears to be relatively new in
rasw, so perhaps he isn't familiar with what the hell is wrong with
Starmaker. On the other hand, it's also plausible that he should be
spelling his name Duh-g. Time will tell.

Free hint for the newbie: The Starmaker is an idiot, who gives
considerable evidence of mental illness. It is incapable of saying

Arguing with it is a good way to look stupid.

What he said.

Plus, many of us have Starfaker firmly ensconced in our killfiles, and
thus never see its posts. However, we do see when people reply to it and
include r.a.s.w. Please refrain from so doing.
