Ralph, you are wrong. The universe has no edge. The *observable* universe may technically have an edge, but that is just because we can't see past it, by definition. Some homework for you to read...

yet it is what most of space is made of. 'Nothing' can be represented by 
three axes at right angles that extend to infinity. Regions inside those
