Handelsblatt: |Ende Oktober 2021 hatten die Automobilkonzerne Volkswagen und Ford das Aus von Argo AI besiegelt. |Das Unternehmen entwickelte Soft- und Hardware für vollautonome Fahrzeuge. |Doch zuletzt waren Zweifel gewachsen, ob Argo rasche Erfolge erzielen kann. Aha. Mitarbeiter: München=280, USA=500 Ich hatte vor einer Reihe von Monaten berichtet, daß Forscher am MIT die Prognose geben, daß 'Voll autonom' noch Jahrzehnte dauern kann/wird. Und genau _das_ paßt Leuten nicht, die keine Ahnung vom Thema aber das Sagen haben. Ich sehe auch bei Mercedes und Audi hierzu einen viel zu großen Optimismus beim notwendigen Zeitbedarf. Es wird nicht die riesige Anzahl von zu lösenden Problemen gesehen, bevor Tests im Straßennetz möglich sind.
