Thankfully we consider that shit to be optional extras.  Everything like that should be customizable.  Some people may find a proximity sensor useful when parking, others would just find it annoying.  Some people might want to be reminded they're not wearing their health and softy belt, I do not.  I deliberately chose not to.

The price difference between ones around here is a factor of 3.  You might get a nicer car, but you pay more and get charged for leaving a slight scratch.
