The last time I had a mouse I constructed a small triangular tube from 
cardboard, put some cheese in one end, and balanced it on the counter over 
a 13 gallon trash can. Mice like tubes and cheese. Go for the cheese and 
gravity does the rest. Throw mouse out the door to the waiting cats.
