Jellicle Ball begins

[Luko, Jack, Barnabas, and several locals all chip in to help build a 
small stage with a podium. It is located where everyone in the shelter 
and most of the critters in the dining room can see and hear.

Outside, the current storm band passes through the area and the rain 
trickles off to a fine mist. The clouds thin enough to allow a view of 
the sky. The moon can be seen just starting to rise.

A beautiful white cat with black ear tips and blue eyes takes the stage. 
While she speaks, Luko and Jack translate into ASL/CD]

Welcome, everybody! My name is Tiffiana, and I'd like to thank you for 
joining us here. Those of you sheltering here might not be aware, but 
the Community cats every year gather to remember those in their lives 
who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge ahead of us. We will call the names 
of our beloved, then we will invite everyone to share their memories of 
the deceased. Once everyone has had a chance to share, we will once 
again call the names, including all the names that added after the First 
Calling.

The first name we call is traditionally Unknown Kitties, House of Bast. 
This is to include all of those who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge 
without having the benefit of being loved and cared for by humans, This 
year we are calling Unknown Souls, House of Bast, so that we can also 
honor those of other species.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce Proler. His is going to 
read the names of our departed loved ones.
