Nobody's getting upset, just that people who've been there are offering 
advice, if it was not alt.* you'd be getting the nth degree ... we can't 
say "no" any more than you can say "yes", so if you want to go ahead, go 
ahead.

That's fair enough if to find about the process.

Apparently not, but what's so unique about MXlinux that anyone who knows 
linux generally and whatever desktop environment MX uses specifically 
can't help people regardless of distro?
