Problems w/ ABS printing
https://all3dp.com/abs-3d-printer-filament-explained/ 3D Printing
Filament for Beginners - ABS Filament for 3D Printing – All You Need to Know

Another page at the site sez: If you really want to take advantage of
all the benefits this material has to offer, you’re best off investing
in a 3D printer that is made specifically for handling ABS filament and
can make the experience hassle-free.

The first link sez: PLA is a good alternative to ABS filament. It is
made from a biopolymer (like corn or sugarcane), easy to print and comes
in a huge variety of blends. You can have PLA added with metal powders
(steel, copper, bronze); it can filled with wood, straw, coffee or even
hemp.
