So, because some crooks might get guns, no guns should ever be
registered?  So, because some uninsured will have accidents, nobody
should be insured.

Then too, knowing who the last registered owner was could help track
down the shooter and yes, that last registered owner could be held
liable for crimes committed with their gun.

A seventh grader has more developed logical skills.
