Purley like many ISP's are having to block various types of 
attachments due to potential malware/viruses. Even PDF files can now 
be blocked thanks to some idiots using them as a payload for 
malware/viruses.

Partly becuase RISC OS programs/cde is not reckonised they become 
treated as suspect.

And the tactic of changing the Zip/PDF extension etc with something 
like txt is well known to the checking systems and now all attachments 
tend to get scanned.
