Yes and it seems that it picks up on those as well.

Virgin Media's email policy is that no executable attachments even in zips
tars etc. Their system is now run by Google and here is a boring list of
banned types.

ade, adp, bat, chm, cmd, com, cpl, exe, htn, ins, isp, jse, lib, mde, msc,
msp, mst, pif, scr, scl, shb, sys, vb, vbe, vbs, vxd, wsc, wsf, wsh. Not
forgetting RISC OS file types.

I have tried the suggestion of changing the file type to that of text. Still
rejected.

If nothing else one can say that Google are efficient. When I post with an
attachment from the Iyo the NetFetch progress bar fairly speeds along the
slows down to a halt not far from completion. The operation will time out
and the error logs show.

Error: 5.7.0 "Our system detected an illegal attachment on your message.
Please review our attachment guidelines."

This was after altering the file type of an Absolute file (RunImage) to
Text.
