It's broken (doesn't implement what is documented) and it doesn't distinguish between inner and outer quotes. The proper documentation about how microsoft (and apperently mingw32 and mingw64) do the command line tokenization is available here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/a1y7w461.aspx Regards, Sven
