Oh, I can be wrong... but when I am I admit to it.  I have repeatedly talked
about how the 2012 usage data for Linux went contrary to my predictions.

But I also know where I am right... or at least where is *no* evidence of my
being wrong and plenty of support I am right - such as my prediction of an
increase in Linux usage and the reported increase in the latter half of
2011.  What has not been shown is that the *reasons* I gave for the increase
I predicted was accurate (causation and correlation are not the same - cc
and Carroll get these confused repeatedly).

I also know that Carroll will *always* run from the question of what names
he has used.  *ALWAYS*.  He knows he has used an army of socks - and to
obfuscate that he accuses others of doing the same (in the recent debate he
accused both Onion Knight and Kaba of being my socks - and, of course,
showed no support or evidence).

I also know when others have been proved wrong. For example:

1) cc was wrong to say I missed steps in the creation of a linear trend line
in Excel.  I did no such thing.

2) cc was wrong to claim the incorrect depictions I showed him of sigma
lines were, in fact, incorrect.  But they were.

3) cc was wrong to say I was pushing the correlations I noted as being proof
of the causation I had spoken of earlier.  I did no such thing.

4) cc was wrong to deny the fact that on a depiction of a normal
distribution you can visually see where the sigma lines should be drawn
based on the distance from the mean (specifically, the distance from the
mean to the inflection points).

5) cc was wrong to deny I showed an upward trend in Linux usage, based on
the data we were both using.  The upward trend was in the latter half of

There is no reasoned debate about any of these facts.  None.  But while I
openly admit when I am wrong, cc will never admit to his errors and Carroll
will lash out and attack me until he dies.  He is consumed by hatred.  He
has been ever since 2004 when his then-girlfriend dumped him and he
(incorrectly) blamed me.  Since that time Carroll has recently repeatedly
tried to make me jealous or whatever by bragging about how his
then-girlfriend moved to live six minutes from him.
