You can just drop this file on !Edit, it is a human readable file,
containing the list of your pins on the desktop, each line starts with an
X meaning to ignore any errors (often caused by the Pinned file not being
found yet/missing)

Screen resolution is not controlled by Pinboard2 that I am aware of.
