I read news from news.individual.net and there are a number of other
good sources without needing google groups.  I have been reading csa2
since 1989, but have become much more occasional when I check it. It is
good to see much activity and work going on.  Holidays were always a
problem, although back in the day when it was mostly postgrads posting
during holidays just because they could.  I do recall posting on
Christmas day once back then.
