    I was just thinking the same thing, Google/Alphabet seems to have caused
the premature death of comp.sys.apple2. I hope something might bring it back,
Facebook and various scathered websites are certainly not a replacement. 
We need a centralized place for all Apple II discussions, with archiving too.

    I've been here since 1992, csa2 was my introduction to the Internet!
I remember back then you'd see 150-200 message per day, and on a 
multitude of topics. I miss that, I do still have interest in my Apple II's
and continue to use them. In fact, this January marks 37 years I've 
had my Apple IIGS sitting on my desk.
