I mostly filter out posts by certain users. Most of the recent spam has
been from a relatively small number of posters.
It can be annoying when new ones show up, but so far it's manageable.
(I currently have 300+ entries in my Gnus score file for this newgroup,
but it's been growing for a long time.)
