FWIW I've noticed this on my Iyo, on & off for years. As far as I know
and experience, it's never caused a problem - since the keyboard and
mouse always work in spite of the 'early warning'!
I believe the cause of the report has got something to do with the
number of USB devices and into which sockets they are plugged at
bootup.
My keyboard and mouse are connected at the rear and I usually have an
unpowered USB 2.0, 25 in 1, card reader connected at the lower-front
(:2 & :3 drives on the icon bar) and the floppy drive has a built-in
card-reader which always holds a CF and an SD card; drives :0 & :1.
