yeah to some degree, 70% of googles shit was, well, shit, yes there was 
collateral damage in the UDP's, and yes theres collateral damage in its 
closing, as usual it only takes a few to fuck it for everyone, do you 
think hte crime gans mass spamming through them care, not in the least, 
back in the day, smtp was open for everyone, every mail server would 
relay for everyone regardless of who's isp you used, then some knob 
jockies decided to abuse it, end result, we have to now apply ACL's for 
who can send mail, we need blacklists, anti spam, anti malware/virus.

As for the tiny few who think they own places, dealt with them a long 
time on IRC, and even ham radio, little net operators think they own the 
channels or frequency, it was fun in my younger years of popping up with 
a few mates minutes before their nets started and chatted away without a 
care of what the net controllers tried in telling us to fuck off, you get 
the little turds who think they own the place today on forums and mailing 
lists, they are just as fun today to piss on today :)
 
I just dont have a lot time to piss on them these days, life is too busy.
