The impotent nanny filtering of google posts made zero difference to 
usenet at large.  Exclusive of spam - easily handled by the vast numbers 
of users, there was a fairly vibrant community of posters who made 
acceptable contributions to many groups.  If one server suddenly nuked the 
posts, there were plenty of others that could be used to override the 
content loss on that server without even changing the source.

The majority of usenet users are not stupid people.

Those who complain about post replies typically are a tiny minority.

Gabx is filling a gap that was created because of narrowing social and 
political views - of course it's going to get heated out here.  Sign of 
the times.  

Of all people, especially since the COVID election stealing fraud 
initiated by American Democrats and your pals the communist Chinese, you 
ozzies should know that.  We watch your news, we know what's going on down 
there.  It's a shit show just like it is everywhere else.  

How's that collapsing Australian economy working out for you Albanese 
voters?  Lost your house yet?
