gcc on my system takes 600MB to install in separate directory,
I have configured c,c++ and go.
clang takes 450mb c,c++ but it uses gcc's libs,.

Windows command line sucks, badly. On Unix libs and include files
are system global so that every compiler knows where to look for, while
on Windows no such thing.
