The only consequential difference between Hitler and Stalin was that
Hitler had target groups for extermination while Stalin killed anyone
he noticed crossing his path. Hitler appears to have no powerful
successors while Stalin's death seems to have had only a short and
relatively smallish impact where it comes to a macro approach.
