Probably you are right, but if Ken "Idiot MM is a valid TOE" Seto (liar 
about contributions to Science and Nature) really wants to provide 
people with the opportunity to download his book he should realize that

       ibook2016.pdf

is not a link. If it goes anywhere it goes to a file in his computer, 
which none of us have access to (unless he has been incredibly sloppy 
about security). He needs to upload it to a server and then reveal the 
address of the server. Something like

       https://wonderfulbooks.com/ibook2016.pdf

would be a real link.

Exactly. Give 1000 monkeys 1000 typewriters with a sheet of paper in 
each, bind the papers into a book and submit it to the Library of 
Congress. It's original.

There have been books published with nothing but random numbers. For 
people who needed actual random numbers before computers. (reminds me of 
what I called the world's most boring books when I was a kid. Books of 
sines, logarithms, tangents etc. that my father had for his pre-computer 
engineering work)
