Google Groups will close.
There are only eight weeks left before final closure.
I remind you that Nemo is available for free and without the need
to install anything.
All French and Anglo-American forums are available
with direct access.
For writing access, a simple email address is required.
The testing forum for those who want to test in free writing on nemo.test

By that term he means, "cro-magnon", but is too shy to direct your
attention to his species. All Europeans are like that. They abhor any
reference made to their actual species.

Thank you, your compliments really warm my heart.
I noticed, many years ago, that French ISPs were starting to lose interest
in Usenet, and I wondered if it was not simpler to create software that
did not require any installation, because it passed through the band. http
and not the nntp band.
A bit like GoogleGroups, but a hundred thousand times better.
I asked a computer scientist (Julien Arlandis) if it was feasible, and in
a few days, we already had a perfectly functional platform. I worked quite
a bit on the interface and the functionalities and the result appeared to
me to be much more excellent and incredible than what I had previously
imagined.
In addition, Julien Arlandis has introduced features of all kinds,
including the inclusion of images, videos, PDFs, spelling correction.
It is often said that those who work on works do not like their works, but
here, frankly, I find the work extremely
interesting, functional and very pleasant to use.
I wish you a happy New Year.

Yes, you did really a good job.

I gladly return your wishes. It would be an even better year if you could
include the German de.sci.mathematik into your supply.

Yes, it is obviously possible.
All you need to do is find a German correspondent who feeds
German forums. In addition, if he also feeds the big8 and/or the French
forums, that would be very interesting for us.
Do you know a Usenet server manager in Germany (or elsewhere)?

Thank you very much! Unfortunately I only use the Usenet but have no
expertise about it. But I will ask in de.sci.mathematik.

If that means he's looking for a newsserver located inside Germany, I
think "Solani" is one.

Would https://www.eternal-september.org/ qualify? The maintainer is German.

It would be interesting to ask the German manager of etrenel-september if
he agrees:
1. For feeder fr. <---> fr (French)
2. For feeder big8<--->big8 (English)
3. For feeder of <---> of (German in whole or in part, notably de.sci.*)

Je ne pense pas qu'il y ait de problème sur l'idée de compléter les
mailles du réseau, le reste étant surtout technique.

R.H.
