Of course, there are different versions of the same quote by Sagan, even by Sagan himself
everytime he repeats it...

"I am a collection of water, calcium and organic molecules
called Carl Sagan. You are a collection of almost identical mole¬
cules with a different collective label." -Carl Sagan

Now, let's get back to that time when the whole earth was
just a ...Rain Forest.

The Rain Age...dat was before the Stone Age, and the Ice Age, etc.

The oceans were there before forests appeared. Read Sagan. Or Asimov.
Another of your fellow Brooklyn residents. Except this one didn't try
that hard to suppress his accent.

Asimov is a 'science fiction' writer, he writes 'fiction'
books...science fiction.
fake science.

Sagan, Carl Sagan is an outer space guy...an 'astronomer'.

an outer space guy
wayyyyy out! ET.

An astronomer observers out-ter-space. looking for fiction beings in
outer space...

Contact. ET. science fiction.

i don't read fiction books.

We already have to much fiction posing as science.

Sagan has a science-fiction book also (the only one I haven't read).
Remember, they made a movie based on it too.

But both Sagan and Asimov have lots of science-for-laymen books too.
Those are the ones you should read. They were both talented in
explaining concepts to the laymen without (much) loss of accuracy.

Now, all noise aside...

while the rain forest was busy
making a river
to an ocean...

you need fishes
to fill the ocean.

Trees make the ocean, and trees also
make the fishes.

The leaves
that fall in the water
 turn into...fishes.

From Leaves to Fishes.

"A celebration of ignorance", as Sagan put it.

But then art is art, if that's what it is.

Seems like scientists celebrate their ignorance everyday!

That's why they write science fictions books filled with aliens from
outer space..lack of knowledge of aliens...so they just...make it up!!

You people are living on a earth that turns in the dark.

Will somebody put the light on already? IT'S FUCKING TOO DARK OUT
THERE!!!!

Science is on the edge of a void of darkness.

I will bring the Light.

Did you know people come from trees also? From a leaf, that drops on the
ground.

I am the light.

Science guys are disapointed there is no aliens or even life from outer space out there...

so they make up them up with...science---FICTION!

Where are the Mars canals????

made it up.

Now the Pentagon jumped on the bandwagon and is making up UFO and
aliens from other planets stories...
but they just want more money
because they got caught charging
the government ten thousand dollars
for a hammer and thirty thousand for
a toilet seat!

Sagan only has one science fiction book. The rest of stuff he wrote were
nice description of past and presence. Read them!

Lots of science people claim to read...books, but they don't..

If you read Sagan you would know he said the first ocean was formed by...trees.

That's not what I remember. He said oceans were first made. In fact the
first form of life itself was some unicellular thing that was formed
inside the ocean! :) Trees evolved way later than that first appearance
of life.

You mean...'you don't recall.' You don't remember what you never
read...i understand that.

To be fair, I don't expect you to remember ...everything he wrote, or
anything.

You continue to show you don't remember...anything. ignorance is a
bliss, isn't it?
You seem to lack A LOT of knowledge of what Carl Sagan said and wrote.

First you say: "He said oceans were first made.", but you don't say How.

Second you say 'life was formed inside the ocean, then trees evolved
later.

You lack knowledge on the first part, and the second part you are
rembering completely... WRONG!

Completely opposite!!

Layman book????

I mean, do I gotta start all over again from the very beginning???

The Moon's gravitional pull causes the one drop of water on a leaf to
drop on the ground, in turn, making a river, a river to make a
sea. The tree keeps the ocean...wet. It keeps it liquid.

river to the sea.

it's dat simple!

okay, here are the order of events by Carl Sagan...

'trees formed the primitive atmosphere of earth and the first oceans.'

should be easy for you to understand as layman as I could put it.

If that's an actual quote, you may be quoting from Velikovsky, not Sagan.

The two were at each other's throats.

Hey! Velikovsky was also a fellow New Yorker of yours, but I'm not sure
in Brooklyn or some other area. Perhaps there were science gangs formed
in those years over there among the enthusiasts, fighting and competing
with each other while not busy reading interesting comics that were
coming out.

Were you a junior little gang member there? Tell me about those years.
