What is GR mean???? isn't that short for...GRavity? -- The Starmaker -- To question the unquestionable, ask the unaskable, to think the unthinkable, mention the unmentionable, say the unsayable, and challenge the unchallengeable.

GR and SR are based on speed. GR is increasing speeds. SR is based on speed. They both are based on speed.

There are people who believe that GR stands for general relativity, but general relativity stands for Gravity.
