I read a book about just such a journey. *Clearly* > you don't know what you're talking about! > Pressure at the center of Earth is about 3.7 million atmospheres! You can guesstimate it by using the main three approximate densities involved: basalt: 5 grams/cc liquid iron: 11 grams/cc solid iron: 13 grams/cc The top part, basalt, is about 3000 km thick. The middle part liquid iron is about 2000 km thick. The core solid iron is about 1500 km radius.
